Jack Torrance then entered Room 217 (237 in the film), in search of what his son claimed to have confronted. He instead encountered Lorraine as a young naked woman in the bathroom, having a bath who comes out and kisses him. During that kiss, she then morphed into a rather ugly, rotting old woman who chased Jack out, cackling at his infidelity. The transformation of the naked woman from beauty to ugliness, which he sees in the bathroom mirror, is a parallel of his father's sudden mood switch from loving reassurance to violent aggression. The woman calls herself the Naked Lady. Apart from her high heels, her name is accurate. She and Nurse Baby Asparagus K-Starr (played by a man with a long platinum-blond wig and a fake German.. The before gorgeous naked woman has now transformed into a rotten, grotesque corpse of an elderly lady. Mingled with the sickening image of the corpse rising from the bathtub, demonically laughing.
